After going through the execution of the information views, I got this doubt. It may seem very elementary but your help is much appreciated.
Correct me where ever I am wrong.
- I believe that when we include a attribute view inside the analytic view, the execution of the view takes place within the analytic view i.e. OLAP engine and there will no transfer of process from one engine to another. I just witnessed the same using the vizualize plan. If that is true then why cant we add the tables directly inside the analytic view rather than using attribute view. I just used one attribute view inside the analytic view and checked. I am not sure whether the behavior would change when we use multiple attribute views.
- If I could implement the same scenario by using either calc view/analytic view, then which would be recommended?
